anti-semitism was a term coined in the 19th century by Europeans seeking to legitimize anti-Jewish sentiments by making up a vaguely scientific name. Though Semitic does extend to a number of people beyond the Jews, the term anti-semitism is used in an exclusively Jewish context. Therefore, saying something like "They can't be anti-semites, they're Arabs and Semitic too!" is erroneous. Anti-semitism is by its very definition anti-Judaeism.

Anti-Semite? And figuring if it was Ham, instead of Shem, you'd be Anti-Hamite.

Someone who needs to be comfortable in his own skin...

I am partly a Semite and I don't agree with all things Semitic, but I am comfortable in my being a Semite or partial Semite anyways.
