You didn't say how much or how often he or she is crying. My son just turned seven months and he has been a bit cranky also. He is getting his two bottom teeth in and he is usually a pleasant little boy. When i touch his bottom gums you can tell it hurts him. Maybe your baby is teething. I have teething rings for him. I use tylenol and baby orajel. good luck.

om mum you must be sure that the baby dont need nothing first
he must be dry always change his wet clothes
feed him well and give hime water
play with him and make funny faces to him
be sure that he is not boring from sometning
be sure that he wear suitable clothes not to heavy nor light his body cannot resist weather as we do
finallyand importantlly............... give him love alot of love
you will find him/her more happy an sleep well

with a little more info ,,,, Make sure the baby is getting enough food, make sure diapers are clean, and make sure they burp,
if that don't work try playing some music.
