hold your upper eye lid with your left index finger, your bottom eye lid with your right middle finger & ring finger and slowly bring your Right Index finger towards your eye and place on eye ball. Blink a few times and you should be good. If you place a towel underneathe you that might help in case you drop the contact. Make sure the contact is wet too.

I used to wear contacts and found it very challenging, at first, to put them in. Start by washing your hands, carefully, and rinsing them well. Rinse the ends of your fingers with a tiny bit of contact lens solution. Moisten the lense. Put the lense on the index finger of your dominent hand. Using the thumb and index finger of your other hand to hold open the lids of the eye you are putting the lens into.Line up the lens to the eyeball. RIGHT before you put in the lens, look way up. While you are looking *way* up, put the lens on your eyeball. If you got it wet enough, and your fingers are wet, it should just go right in. You'll see the lens coming at your eye with your peripheral vision, but since you're holding the lid firmly open, you'll get the lens in before the blink reflex kicks in.
Best wishes. I switched back to glasses because the contacts were such a pain in the a**. Be sure to keep a pair of glasses as a backup, because believe me, you'll need them eventually.

hold your head straight and look all the way up with your eyes only (that way you won't see the contact)pull the lower lid down and quickly place it on your eyeball and blink. The contact will automatically slide to the right place.

lower your bottom lid, look straight ahead. Have the lens balanced on the tip of your finger, put it straight in, kind of half on your iris and half on your white bit. then slowly tilt your head back and until you are looking at the ceiling, lens should be in! good luck! The lens likes moisture, so try a wet finger to get it out again!

try like using your left hand by putting it into a "c" put your index finger below your left brow and pull the skin up then usin your thumb put it it an inch or so below your eye and pull down. that should help keep your eye open. then repeat process for right eye using right hand unless you want to use your left hand. Oh yea, practice makes it easier.

Getter better lenses, like those hydroclear.
Dont be afraid to touch your eyes. Dont poke too hard. Once you're able to touch your eyeballs, you wont be afraid. You wont poke your eye out!!
