I am trying to set up my scanner and download it's software but it will not open my USB ports how do I do this

Jenni honey is your BIOS set to USB if not then it will not respond. Does your PC notify you when you INSERT SCANNER with USB connection? If not darling then your BIOS is not set. Check for BIOS.

If your BIOS is fine then do this darling. UNINSTALL your scanner software and re-boot your PC. then re-install your drivers this might work. Somewhere along the line you have missing file or not installed properly honey.
