Everyone on this section of answers seems to have an agenda. Why do people preach to people on the internet? Why do people feel so intent on shoving their religion down everyone's throat?

Uhmmm, I'm puzzled here. I believe that this is the "Religion & Spirituality" section. You know, the place where RELIGION is discussed!
If people have faith in a God or religion wouldn't you think they would come to this site with the expectation of defending it if it's challenged? Or, maybe, even it it's not challenged because, ordinarily, it's the rock on which they build their life.
It's like meeting someone and telling them "You say your kids are beautiful but any fool can see that they are ugliest kids I've ever seen!." Think, maybe, the guy might jump to his (ugly) kids defense?

I agree. I was hoping this would be an area for open, intelligent discussion on religions and spiritual matters. Instead its mostly closeminded or just completely pointless. There are some good discussions going on though, you just have to search for them which I suppose is only fitting for the spirituality section.

Atheist use the religion site the most. Their entire life is centered around their atheism.

Less dogma...more spirituality regardless of creed.
