Well, just like the Mormons, I'm telling you that my Faith, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) is the True Church.
However, I firmly believe that we're NOT NOT NOT saved by the dominations we belong to, so I believe that specific Catholic believe is Wrong Wrong Wrong (anyone who dies outside the Catholic Church is automatically doomed to hell).
I'm a Sinner. But I believe that my church has delivered to me the message from Jesus Christ very well, that Jesus Loves me and as long as I repent and believe in him, I will be saved.
But we're ALL saved Individually, NOT as a group. So in a Sense, it does't matter which church you go to, as long as they follow the Bible and Jesus' teaching.
Again, it's YOUR call. You need to research each Church and find out which one you want to go. If you're interested in SDA, please email me.
Here is the Adventist website

The catholic church is the result of man's apostasy from the church Christ created. It is NOT the "original" church. Jesus NEVER appointed a "pope" over the church, that was HIS JOB! - Peter's CONFESSION was the ROCK on which the church was to be built, NOT PETER HIMSELF! So the church was established on the fact that Jesus was the Christ, that is, the promised Messiah.
The "church of Christ" grew out of an 18th century movement to "restore" the New Testament church as scripture tells us it was originally formed - The book of Acts records the earliest history of the church and tells us what first century Christians did to "join" that church. (Acts 2:37-38) 37 When the people heard this, their hearts were filled with shame. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Many "non-denominational" churches are also trying to be that church in today's world. Look for:
1. A church with only local organization, with elders, pastors, shepherds, bishops, overseers (these are all translations of the 3 words in the Greek New Testament which describe LOCAL church leaders) selected from their congregation with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The New Testament doesn't explicitly state that there should be more than one, but the references to their appointment are always in plural. There was no regional or world "head" or governing body for the church. Acts 15 records a "conference" of the apostles and elders at Jerusalem which was held to silence Judaizing teachers, but does not establish this as a way for questions to be answered in the future.
2. Only scripture is a basis for teaching and worship.
3. New Christian adults are baptized immediately by immersion. The first century church did not put this off. It was done with urgency.
4. Baptized believers share in communion, or "the Lord's Supper" each week.
5. They meet each Sunday. (The early church met on what we would call Saturday night. They defined the day as beginning at sunset. This is how Paul preached til midnight. - Acts 20:7)

it doesnt matter what religous catagory they fall under, there are real ones and ones who think that they are real, but are badly mistaken, and then some that are in a way down right scams. also another problem with churches, and just poeple in general claiming salvation is that they mis-read things in the bible, ex. you read in the bible about poeple drinking wine, alot, if not all of the time its grape juice! true followers of the lord are few and far between, but they ARE out there, and remember this, it is easier to BELIEVE that you can do what ever you want after you are "dipped" in the water, but the truth is there is a ton more to it than that, ex. i know alot of people who claim to be saved, while smoking a cig, drinking a beer, messing around on there partners, and all the while having the nerve to say you better go get saved that way when you die, you can go to heaven like me! yeah right, in serving the lord remember why would he give something for nothing, if you are gonna talk the talk then walk the walk! also, although going to church is good, the most salvation can often come from between you and God personally

Bro this is a sincere answer, please reflect over it...
NON of todays existing churches practise and act upon the teachings of the Bible totally.
They take portions of the Bible and refuse portions.
Like the Bible says 'the son shall not bear the sins of the father' (Ezekiel 18:20) but most churches believe in inherited sin, original sin.
The Bible teaches not to eat pork (LEVITICUS 11:8) but the churches say you don't have to follow that.
The bible says faith and keeping commandments are both necessary for salvation (Ezekiel 18:21, John 14:15, Matthew 23:1-3) but the churches say keeping commandments is not necessary.
The Bible says women have to cover their head (1 Corinthians 11:5-6) but the churches say you don't have to.
So my dear friend, look hard and you will know that no church accepts and acts upon the entire Bible. And if the church does not act upon the Bible it is not following scripture, it is following vain desires. What would be then the difference between the church and some cult?
Now, there is a group, a huge group of more than a billion who follow the teachings of the Bible, who accept Jesus to be the Messiah, who not only have faith, but who also hold on to the commandments. They never eat pork, never drink, always love the neighbours. Their women cover their heads. They don't go to extremes by saying things about Jesus that he never claimed. They believe in Jesus as being one of the mightiest messengers of God - because he never claimed anything more than that.
Muslims know that the same God, Allah, inspired Muhammed, Jesus and all other messengers, and therefore their messages were the same. It's just that ppl have gone to extremes and started claiming things the prophets themselves never claimed.
So my dear brother, I sincerely advise you to go to a mosque or some Islamic website and learn more about Islam - the fastest growing religion in the world.
May God guide u to the right path. Amen.

Salvation does not depend merely on a religion, but on a Person (please, read: John 3:16; 17:3; Acts 4:11-12; 1 John 5:12).
Being born again is necessary. Jesus Himself said so on John 3: 5. Being born again means that you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and ask Him to live in your heart. He'll change the evil nature all of us have for His righteousness. That change can occur in a few seconds, or may take time.
Please read the following article with an open mind and while asking God to lead you through the Holy Spirit, it will give the answer to your question http://www.amazingfacts.org/items/Read_Media.asp?ID=677&x=16&y=20

OK, first there is some truth to every church, but no church will have the whole truth. this is why there are so many different religions. organized religion tells people that they can only believe certain things and restricts spirituality. you do not need to find the right church, you need to find your own personal spirituality. you have already come to notice that the most prominent christian churches have something missing, something that you want that is not there. this is the true problem with organized religion. religion should be a guidance, and not be pushing someone into something they believe, or trying to hold them back from something they believe. people need to be able to make their own decisions through meditation or prayer or both.
talk to whatever god you believe in yourself, god will tell you the right way. make a balance in your life, and build your personal spirituality.
blessed be.

I understany how u feel, me too hesitate to go into Catholic Church because I worried that I may go to hell since they pray to Mother Mary and idolise the statues. Somehow god work in a most wonderful and mystery way, I was baptised on Aug 15, 2004 on the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption. Usually Catholics baptise during Christmas or Easter. The Lord has given His Mother to me and that is one of the greatest gift I ever receive. Today I have no doubt about Catholicism.
Thus, if u still doubt, just go to any Catholic Church, sit before the host in Adoration Room where the Lord is truly present in the host itself. Open your heart and u will feel something different compared to any other christian church.

The church according to the bible is the body of Christ. Some are the eyes, arms, legs, in other words they are all working to keep the body function. Christ is the head. You need to read the bible for yourself. Ask the Holy spirit to help you with understanding then get into a church that comes as close to your understanding as you can of the bible. No one church or denomination may be perfect as they have man's influence in them. But stay away from churches who hold men up instead of Christ. (cults) Don't go on a humans words but Jesus Christ, The bible that is the only way.

First, get acquainted with the shepherd, he will lead you.
Start by asking Him to be your Lord, then confess to Him all your wrongs and bad habits. Ask His forgiveness and believe He has forgiven you. He has that right because He died to gain it. Then read some in His Word every day, and pay attention to what you read. A nice place to start is in the beginning of the New Testament, or Proverbs and Psalms (Old Testament).
Finding the True Church will come after that.

In my opinion, there is no true church. There is only the best church. If we are sensitive to GOD, GOD will lead and direct.
No one has the right to judge which is the true church, only GOD has the right to judge.
In addition, if u really want to know how to get to the best church for yourself, constantly read the word, stay at the church where u can grow spiritually and be closer to GOD as days goes by regardless of the human and worldly factors.(like the church is too far from your house). GOD will tell you which is the best church. When you find peace in the place where you have chosen to grow in your walk with GOD, that will be the place where GOD will want you to be.
