It all depends what you want, and how much you want to pay for atmosphere.
If I were eating out, I'd go to one of the branches of Paul's, a French chain of patisseries, for croissants and pains au chocolat for breakfast, and eat them with an orange juice and café au lait. (I can forgive the bad service given the quality of the food.) An alternative would be a branch of Patisserie Valerie. But if you want a traditional English breakfast with eggs, sausages & bacon ... then one of the London hotels or a restaurant discussed in the second link below is where you should go. The Continental breakfast will cost you £5 or more; the English one £10-£20.
An informal lunch is best taken at a branch of Prêt à Manger: a sandwich, perhaps soup, and a drink and maybe dessert is under £10.
For dinner I would splurge and eat at The Ivy. Or if you can't get a reservation there, then you can get a traditional English dinner at Foxtrot Oscar, very near the Chelsea Physic Garden. You can eat at The Ivy for £35 or less, and at F.O. for £20 or less with a drink.
If you order wine the prices will be higher.

the 1st theory that got here to my strategies upon analyzing this post became a million. WHY is college training cost is united states of america ridiculously high priced? WHY do colleges choose lots funds? a school isn't a business enterprise like Apple or Microsoft. My sister will graduate from her 4 years of school quickly and the completed coast of training pee paid throughout the time of those 4 years....is OMG too lots. the quantity is very almost as lots because of fact the U.S. national debt. 2. do colleges certainly choose a number of funds? 3. united states of america is at the instant dealing with an economic disaster; it is anticipated to be between the worst ever in U.S. historic previous. So unemployment is a becoming challenge, the economic equipment is getting spoiled and there are greater harmless electorate suffering under the poverty line. and that i'm no longer against the government however the federal government does not seem sorting it out nicely. i do no longer understand that lots with reference to the ecnonomy, so I discovered from my sister (she's a enterprise / economics considerable) and that i can tell that the country, the economic equipment and so on are all dealing with a disaster. Soo....i do no longer understand yet until the government grants to love help the unfavourable pay for faculty or something I strongly recommend that faculties do no longer strengthen training expenses. otherwise...united states of america will face an excellent worse academic disaster. Does the stuff I typed make sense? wish it does. And......the solid information is that the high priced training cost paid to an incredible college became certainly nicely worth it because of fact that my sister have been given an incredible interest 2 weeks in the previous graduation.

depends where you are, wand hat you have etc- are you talking about a hotel, or individual meals?
there are many cafes pubs etc, that do good value 'all day' breakfasts, for around £3 or so.
restaurants sometimes have set 2 or 3 course 'specials', though wine beer etc is unlikely to be included!
larger towns & cities (ie, tourist spots) may charge more.
