A person who doesn't believe in any paranormal activity would be shocked and probably believe in her/him. However a person who believes that there are some beings with the capacities that human beings do not have, would think that it can be a genie or ghost or the devil itself, who is trying to deceive ppl. So as always, the interpretation depenps on your view. I definetely wouldn't be his/her follower before I fully grasp the meaning of his/her teachings and the consequences that might follow if I believe him/her. Just showing a miracle doesn't mean much to me since I see miracles as undiscovered physical phenomena.

Jesus is not the begotten son of God. The verse of Bible that said he was i.e. John 3:16 has now been changed and the word begotten taken out. It was done by 36 Christian scholars of highest eminence backed by 50 co-operating denominations. Therefore the word begotten is taken out in almost all modern versions of the Bible which go back to the most ancient manuscripts.
So if the man walking on water said he was son of God I would understand him to mean a godly person like those words mean in the Bible.

Most likely not. Remember although it appears sitting at this point in time that Jesus was well accepted by a GREAT number of people is not so. Matter of fact he was totally disregarded by the Jews to whom prophesied him, he was reviled and treated badly by many and so where his followers. And look at his own disciples when he walked on water, their own faith in the man they believed to be THE chosen one was lacking, and they were pretty damn good men.
The expansion of what we call Christianity happened after the death of Jesus, with the 12 plus the 70 Jesus sent out spreading the word. Then it became a fire that spread thought these thousands of years.

Criss Angel (Mindfreak) pulled that one off at the Aladdin hotel pool in Las Vegas.
I absolutely do NOT. It's incredibly weak-minded for anyone to simply drop to their knees and worship someone because they did something that you don't understand. Think for yourself instead of blindly subjugating yourself to someone else and their cause!!
If you want to talk to him and ask him who he is and what he's all about, then fine. I'd have to see a lot more "miracles" before I truely believed that someone was not a mere illusionist perfoming parlor tricks. And if I WAS convinced that this person was clearly able to do genuine, wonderous things, then that's something to be admired and appreciated...but not followed as if you're a trained lapdog.
If you choose of your own free will to become someone's disciple, so be it. Just use your brain instead of taking up their banner just because they impressed you with some hocus pocus. There's real magic that's still out there...but make your own decisions.

I would need a little more than what is likely a David Copperfield trick to make me believe in this way.
I would not say it is impossible. Jesus reached people through his teachings, miracles and resurrection.
As a Christian, my beliefs are guided by scriptures and my conscience. I believe Jesus will return but I would look for something other than parlor tricks to convince me I've met him.

Do you recognize that a new child gets a extra clever medical education at a private Catholic college than a public one? Christianity isn't anti-technological know-how. Gregor Mendal a Catholic monk became between the 1st adult adult males to pioneer and and consider out the thought of genetics? there is an infinitely longer checklist of Catholic and Christion scholars and priests that pioneered multiple sides of technological know-how. drugs, Astronomy, genetics, Nuclear Physics, the checklist is going on. between the main ordinary Atheist errors is, they suspect technological know-how and Christianity refuse to Co-exist, whilst in fact the different is authentic. all of us be responsive to plenty approximately technological know-how and literature in part with the aid of fact throughout the dark an prolonged time whilst populations have been usually illiterate the only Non-noble found out adult adult males have been clergy. Even then Nobles often found out little or no approximately technological know-how. It became seen unessessary to their destiny. those prayerful committed adult adult males perpetuated maximum of what all of us be responsive to in the present day. They set development blocks and outfitted on foundations whilst no one else became in a position.

Hmm. You make a strong case. But God did warn that there would be many false prophets so I would probably just say he's an illusionist.
