A lot of people in my life bother the hell out of me.

Would it make my life better if I ignored the annoyances or told them how much of assholes they are and leave it at that?

It creates the illusion that you are doing something positive but truly it is a negative in many ways. Why aggravate yourself further? Why tell people they are 'assholes' why not simply tell them they are wrong and that they annoy you and move on. In the long run it is better to learn to completely block out the majority of the human race.

annoyances are created by the annoyed...to "tell someone off " would be annoying to not only the bothersome person but to anyone who might be within earshot...you'd then be the person thought poorly of by more likely than not by strangers of whom not being your familiars could not release you from your shortcoming (once realized by you) via an apology...failure to acknowledge this merely perpetuates the annoying behavior rather than resolve it... friends and acquaintances are a means for us to practice civilities toward each other for the reception of strangers such as you and I, for the bettering of relations of all...
that's how I see it.
Don't trip.
Let it go & Let good...Prevail
...your life will increase immeasurably

Yes. As long as they won't be in your life. I never used to say anything, but I've been pretty screwed over the past 7 yrs and I expect ppl to do their Jobs and if they don't OR if they do,I either rip into them or pats on the back. Just don't do it to much, it might make you to negative, then ppl would probably spread the word if you turned into major prick.

He who laughs last will laugh first in the end and that will be you if you just sit back and watch their lives fall apart before your eyes, if you'll notice I bet those people always have a problem and they'll continue to have problems until they grow op and stop being evil for no reason.....

Is telling people off ok?

it depends on the situation.
don't cut your nose off to spite your face.

If someone is intentionally getting in your business and you are an "Independent" Adult..go for it, but do so in a calm and non threatening way.

If it is family...and you are living at home......you'd better think twice and tread lightly...least you find yourself living in a card board box.

Sometimes it is but it all depends on the situation. If it makes you feel better, then go right ahead.
Don't do it if it will cause you problems down the road.

If the person is annoying you on purpose telling them off may only provoke them. If they don't mean to annoy you then you should tell them NICELY that they are bothering you.

Try to ignore it, but if they keep on let your feelings all out on to them and then tell em to hit the road!!

Telling people where to go should be done after you have tried every reasonable alternative.

Sometimes, confrontation can be very rewarding. It can clear the air a bit. However, passive aggression always works for me! :)
