i KNOW this will stump them. I KNOW it. OK. here it goes. Theres a man watching tv. While he watches TV, he falls asleep. When he wakes up, he sees what is on TV, goes upstairs, turns the light on, and kills himself. Why does he kill himself? (They can only ask yes or no questions. if they run out of things to guess, tell them to think about his job, what he saw on tv, what job would he have to turn a light on for?) The answer is that he is a lighthouse owner. (keep in mind that if they ask if he's in his house, he is. He's the owner of it.) When he fell asleep, he forgot to turn the light on upstairs, so the ship that he was supposed to guide in to the shore crashed because they didn't know where to go. When he woke up, he saw what he had did (on the news). They don't have to get the WHOLE thing like that, but mainly they HAVE to get that he's a lighthouse worker. This totally works. Everybody gets stumped by it!

A father and son get into a car accident and are hurt very badly. They both get sent to different hospitals. When they wheel the son into the emergency room, the doctor says, "I can't operate on this patient, he's my son." How is this possible?
The doctor is the boy's mother. You'd be surprised how many people assume the doctor is male.
