Technically if you follow the Bible and Torah those prophecies were supposed to happen when the Messiah came, which according to Jews never happened. Now according to Christians the Messiah came but those things didn't happen when Jesus came, as the original prophecy had stated it would in the Torah (Old Testament). Instead the writers of the New Testament said that there would be a second coming. This was a new concept or prophecy, possibly created to explain the shortcomings of the "first coming" (Jesus couldn't be the Messiah if he didn't fulfill ALL the prophecies and he only fulfilled a few of them up to that point. Even if you are Christain and believe it all to this point than still at least attempting to stick to the actual prophecy the end of world events don't occur until the second coming, until the Messiah is here making them happen. It was not Jesus who returned Isreal to the Jews as prophecy said the Messiah would, it was men. If you believe in the Judeo-Christian God you must believe he is racist, he chose a people based on race. I don't know why a God would do any of these things or will it to happen. It all sounds a bit trumped up to me.

No-one but God can really answer all your questions - He sees the big picture, we don't. We can only give opinions about when certain prophecies will be fulfilled. It may seem things are lining up as described in the Bible now, but next week things may change again. The best thing we can do is to be prepared if Jesus returns soon. THAT is something that will be unmistakable: "For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man" (NIV Matthew 24:27)...."At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn." (verse 30)..."he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." (verse 31) The desirable place to be at that time, will be with the elect - don't delay in finding out what that means!
I think it would be very difficult for other countries to follow the Bible like a script without divine intervention. We know that prophecy is often fulfilled through God's people and also other people; Moses delivered the Israelites out of Egypt, Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, Rome destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD.
God doesn't give a specific reason that He chose the Jews as His chosen people. He says in Deuteronomy 7:7:
The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous that other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.
Maybe He chose them because they were the fewest. He frequently takes the weak, the small, the powerless and does unexpected things with them.
You might be able to say He was racist if He prevented others from having a relationship with Him, but He doesn't. In the Old Testament, strangers/aliens could assimilate into the community: Leviticus 19:33 "When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt."
Everyone in the New Testament who repented was welcome to become a disciple of Jesus and therefore reconciled to God. So I don't see racism there. Do you? More importantly, are YOU reconciled to God?

Wow. Ok... many writings within the original hebrew text of the old testiment seem to describe life in a timeless state. We are still those people doing what we have always been doing. God is not a being who chooses and wills in the human sense. God is a form made up of all existence, including us. We are living as an expression of God's will. These events are very complicated, but even 2000 years ago it was possible for one to calculate what would happen today. We are like numbers within a never ending mathmatical calculation. Israel is also just one of those numbers falling back into line over and over again. The King James version of the bible is VERY POORLY TRANSLATED from one a previous greek translation of the original hebrew. Neither language compares. The old text is so rich and meaningful... The english language doesnt even have words to stand for pieces of the meaning of original texts. One Hebrew symbol might loosly be described with 8 or 9 English words, But still so much meaning is lost. King James used single words in parallel translation.
Ill give you a for instance. Adam and Eve. God did not say "do not eat the fruit" God actually said something more like "You do not eat the fruit" which can be seen to mean more like a question asking why dont you eat it? The commandments said "You Won't" not "thou shall not" He was saying that when you are with God you wont be able to do those things and that is how you will know that you are with God. He was saying that this is what being with God has to offer. You wont steal from another because you will know that you are only stealing from yourself and hurting yourself...

What are happening around you are real. The wars are real, everything is real. Do you think (or if you are) a president of a certain nation will follow a script in the expense of a lot of his people's lives? What good will it do to you? Will you and your people benefit from it? No body is forcing anything to happen, because it is suppose to happen that's why! It is God's will that is why man are doing it unconsciously! And God is not a racist, He just loves all of His creation even you. Hope it's clear and helped you.

Is there a difference in the first two 'choices' you gave?
If it's God's will, prophecy WILL come true whether or not men make the choice. God is in charge and doesn't need to depend on men.
Don't be silly! If God had chosen a different race, then you would've ask why He chose that race. If He wanted to choose a race to represent Him to the rest of the world, He had to choose one race or another. Which one did you want Him to choose?

This is not Gods war. This is mans war. But God will intervene.
I believe in the prophecy of the bible. True believers will know
when the end of times is near. God does not lie.

There are no valid prophecies in the bible.
Most Israelis are atheists from Nazi Germany or the former Soviet Union (or their descendants).
They are totally unrelated to anyone in the bible myths (Abraham), so their arrival in Palestine fulfilled no bible "prophecy."
Oil was discovered in the Middle East in the early 1900's. With or without bible myths, the US (and Europe) would have found some reason "we" needed to maintain a puppet government in the region.

Humans are incredibly gifted at interpreting events to fit their notions about reality. Thus events in the Middle East often get defined by how well they "fit" bible prophesy. The fact is, however, that the bible is a poorly written compilation of heavily revised texts based upon primitive myth. It is hardly useful in assessing current events, much less the most probable outcomes of said events.

Why do you ask questions you don't need an answer to? the point of the Bible and Christianity is that you won't be able to maintain on with The Bible top. it truly is what makes a Christian a Christian. Being a sinner is a prerequisite to being a Christian. the precedence with faith is that it says, "do reliable, get reliable. Do undesirable, get undesirable". Christianity says that God did each thing for us. All we ought to do is believe and call get carry of His eternal present of salvation. it truly is called The Gospel of Grace. once you're feeling undesirable, do not blame the Christians. you note, Eve blamed the serpent even as she did what God instructed her no longer to do. Adam blamed Eve or maybe blamed God for his sin. and human beings were blaming all and sundry else ever on account that. once you get indignant at Christians, it truly is called self-condemnation. there is no reason to sense that way. Jesus died so that you in no way had to sense that way. He changed into our Sacrifice once and for all.

I doubt if countries are following a script, but certain people surely are. In America, John Brown thought he was a prophet of God, and was dedicated to bringing an apocalyptic war. And the war came.
