I also wanted to improve my English.........
You see English was not my mother tongue...
There were a few things that helped me a lot....
Here, let me give you a few tips....
(1) Reading
It is very important to read, read books that contains difficult words.. If you continue reading books that are very comfortable for you, you would never improve.... It might be hard, but keep on it. Most importantly, keep a dictionary at hand........
(2) Writing
Writing doesn't mean you should, write big essays or stories, you can keep a small diary. Be sure to include new words that you have picked up while reading....
(3) Talking
Find someone that you can talk freely... In the beginning its important to find a friend, with whom you can talk making a lot of mistakes, but in later stages, after you have gained confidence, find a good user of the language, if he is not your friend, well make him.... Its very important in learning process, to stop to do things that you are comfortable with, and to take on uncomfortable things...
(4) Be Confident
"Failure Is The Stepping Stone To Success".
In the beginning its important for you to talk, with being upset by grammatical mistakes. Grammar comes second. Language is for communication, if you have somehow made the other person understand what you wanted to convey through the language, you are using the language..... However in later stages, you should not be upset, if somebody says you are wrong, correct it, if you find there is a mistake........
With these practices and attitudes, you can soon conquer any language, not only English.....
By the way, I have passed IELTS, that is International English Language Testing System, with a big score, and am now currently studying in Australia, it really works, trust me!!......
Hope you got your answer...??

First of all, it's "How can I become more fluent in English."
Second, I would recommend reading a bunch of U.S. News stories. Go to the Yahoo! News page and read about news that interests you. Politics, Sports, Weather, etc. Anything will help you learn better English. Journalists have to be good in the Language Arts field to be taken seriously, so there's really no better teacher than a news story.
Best of luck to you!

it really is going to definately help you. (: I surely ought to take Russian in college, and a pair of youngsters in my Russian classification communicate Polish. They reported its VERY similar. anytime we study new vocabulary, they could many times wager what lots of the words mean. xD Their pronounciation is likewise very, very reliable. The alphabet in easy words took us about a month to totally memorize. xP i do not comprehend something about Polish, yet Russian has six diverse circumstances, and the noun endings replace searching on the gender and case. it really is annoying. xD reliable success.
