I'm not that kind of person, I myself really don't believe on that superstition. Why? Because there is no instance in my life where the superstition of my grandparents come true. For example, they say that don't point on the rainbow, because if you did so your finger will be loose. So what now, could I type these thing if my fingers are gone.
There are some superstition that has relationship with science, like if it is full moon there are less fish to be caught, and it is true because many fishermen don't catch some fish when it is full moon. The explanation with is the water level rises when it is full moon and fishes don't go up on the water instead they go underwater.

All humans are superstitious, regardless what they (we) claim.
I like to think I'm not superstitious, but not being superstitious is unnatural and requires conscious thought (rationalization).

nope.
why should i be....i simply dont believe that breaking a mirror will leave you doomed to 7 years of bad luck....heck i 've broken a couple of mirrors already by dropping them by accident...and no bad luck..
tons of black cats have crossed my path...but it didnt effect me in any way...
also, there are so many other superstitions like...no cutting nails at night...yeap..i have family members who follow that one for some reason...
i guess theres no harm done in being superstitious....but i must say that its way easier to not be superstitious....because you dont get worried over little things like breaking a mirror...haha

No. In my view it is infantile to believe some superior force or
being influences everyday events. Rational indicates that if
such a mighty force or being exists it would hardly be
interested in such insignificant (by comparison) beings such
as us.

No.
Superstition serves no purpose other than to scare kids at night so they can go to sleep early.
Old people hang on to superstitions because they were raised by their parents to believe such things.
I choose not to believe because it doesn't help me in anyway in my life.
Peace.
