Nurse told you about that? And you believe her? Asking my about logic...well go to a doc.! He will specified what you should do! What if someone give a way to resolve that, and you will realise that is very very wrong! Wgat then! My advice is not to put this tipe of question here! You`ll need a professional help!

Electrolytes. It is also better if it is Flat. leave it out to get rid of the carbonation. Also a great stomach settler is mint. Candy cane or peppermint placed in boiling water until dissolved then cooled until palatable can even be put into a bottle or drank like tea. It even works for us old folks.

GO TO THE DOCTOR! Don't rely on some scatterbrained nurse (they aren't docors). Get your child to a doctor NOW!

i dont know how or why but sipping vernors or any type of ginger ale always seems to take away a stomach ache

i dont know but they do help upset stomachs and cure headaches
