If that is the case, Why hang in a section where you are surrounded by people who you believe to be insane? It's contagious, you know?

Why should you care if they believe or not. Do you expect them to take you seriously? I have found that my belief in atheism hasn't cost me any friendships or relationships. In fact, it doesn't even come up in my day to day conversations. My boyfriend happens to believe in God, and I do not. Try not to put to much weight on this. There is more to life then a persons religious beliefs, or lack there of.

Einstein believed in at least a vague deist version of God. Do you figure him for an intellectual lightweight?

In response to an earlier remark, Einstein did not believe in God. He was an atheist.

I visited some "Christian" website that is promoting the lie that Einstein believed in God. I suppose the admonition about lying doesn't apply to "Christians" who lie about their "faith."

Because the reality is that you are suffering and they are suffering. If their suffering is lessened by their belief, good for them.

Now, if they try to impose their beliefs on you, or take that holier than though attitude, the gloves can come off.

It's almost impossible, when someone believes in these delusions and is non-responsive to logic and the facts staring them in the face, there is not much you can do.
