Surely you'd like to seem some of the ground breaking cars each of these makers have put out reincarnated. Which ones, and how would you power them? Of course I have my own wish list, which I'll add later.

I'm think, for Renault, Le Car (biturbo.) But built by Nissan. For GM I want a retro early 50's Vette with the straight 5 they make now. Make it cheap and affordable. A Miata fighter with more even more cache than Solstice and a plastic body. For Nissan a 240Z in style, not just name, with a ragtop. Another Miata/Solstice fighter. I'd like it with a four. The original Nissan sports car is worthy but hardly well known.

I think there is a Camaro retro concept car floating around the auto show circuits. It certainly deserves an encore. Just keep the mpg down somehow.

I once owned a 65 high perf. Stang. I could shoot myself for letting that go, but who knew?

I currently own a 350z and a 240z. From an enthusiast's opinion, Nissan did a great job remaking the Z. Many aspects from the original Z have been carried over to the current model like the 3-pod center gauge console, the emblem placements, vehicle design, roof line(headroom), driver position, door panels even look similar, alpha-numerical name representing engine size, etc.

Although I would have liked Nissan to make smaller changes here and there, for the price, I believe they reincarnated the original affordable sports car.

Unfortunately Renaults aren't sold in the Western Hemisphere anymore.
GM is attempting some new retro stylized cars here in the US, but Nissan would have to revert to a Datsun classic RX.

I would love to see pontiac bring back the 70's version of the Grand Prix.

A 73 style 'stang for the 2009 model year would be nice too!

Retro is a dead end, I think...

I wonder how Ford will update their Mustang? Will they offer a '73 model in 2009?

But how about these fine retros: Fuego Turbo, Datsun B210, and Chevy El Camino / GMC Sprint
