Awwww....first I'd say you have a good sense of humor. If there is someone in particular, then just approach her and ask if she wants to do something with you...coffee, etc. Trust me, once you get out of high school and get you college you start to see a more mature group of girls who want a guy on more than just his athletic status and looks that are too good to be true.

Also, if you do show her confidence, that will help. Girls like a guy who is confident. I think you should just go for it.

Focus on you strong points, not your weaknesses...
Use your sense of humor, if you have one..
Make direct eye contact, say what you have to say, and let it go.
She can only say yes or no, she can't kill you and eat you. Women don't like beggars or weak men, so don't act like one. Take some time to get comfortable in your own skin, body language says a lot...don't fidget, look at the floor, or beat around the bush...if you slip up, so what? Be prepared to laugh it off.

There is someone for everybody.
Life is too short to be intimidated by
rejection. Nobody likes it, but its an
unfortunate reality for all of us. Try and
sooner or later you will find what you're looking for.
Just try to be yourself and think positive.
