Does anyone out there think Timothy Treadwell had some kind of mental illness?

I think he did but I don't know what you would call it.
I think he lost touch with reality and I don't really know what to call that either.

Yes he had. From the little bit of history given on the film. He did seem to have a mood disorder with psychotic features. At the same time he does appear to have some sort of personality disorder.
