I saw someone else had asked this and the only responses received indicated that people had not actually read, or understood, the question. So, I'm posting it again for myself:
Why don't Jews believe in Jesus? Do you agree with their reasons? SEE THIS SITE FOR THEIR EXPLANATION: http://www.aish.com/spirituality/philosophy/Why_Dont_Jews_Believe_In_Jesus$.asp

Please keep responses short (40~ lines).
No offense has been intended.

Here are some more ideas: http://jewsforjudaism.org/web/faq/general_messiah-criteria02.html
Again, no offense has been intended. It's just that christians often ask me "well, have you ever read isaiah 53?!" and when I respond "yes, and it doesn't seem to be about jesus" they are shocked. It seems that many of them actually believe that Jews have never had any reason for denying christianity - a decision we've often given our lives for over the past 2000 years. So, now I'm wondering if any christians have read OUR reasons and what they're feelings are about it.
