Well, its the most damaging among the navagrahas. Its the "Surya" which rules your horoscope. Whenever there is even a shadow of Shani in some block of your horoscope, it spells trouble. But, whenever Shani's shadow ends towards "Sadhe Sati", it gives a lot to the person.
