I sat in the hospital holding my newborn sons hand when the song "Broken Wings" came on the radio that was playing. My son was on a respirator and was given medication so that he could not move or fight the respirator.
Mid-song I said to my son that I had to go (I was crying and didn't want him to see me like that). Even with the paralizing medication, when I said that my Son griped my finger oh so hard as if to say, "Please Momma stay". Though I was crying and knew he would surly die, I stayed there and began telling him of all the wonderful relatives that would meet him in heaven and take care of him for me.
This song was all part of a vision that was reveled to me just several days into my pregnancy. He indeed was half of the flesh and blood that made me whole. I asked this Angel to please take me instead let him stay.
I knew then he had to go back so I offered my broken wings to help him to fly away. The Angel replyed that my wings were not broken, they were a bit dirty but this little one needs no help from anyone he is pure and his wings are fine. His name and mine are written in the book of life and we shall see each other in paradise.
My son, Patrick died at 10 days old, just two days later. I thank God and the Messanger Angel for giving me the chance to tell my son on all the things about his relatives in Heaven and for the chance to hold an Angel in my arms, even for a short time.
I'm sure Mr. Mister was talked to by this same Angel and I'm sure his name too is written in the book of life.
A word to the wise: judge not lest ye be judged... Peace be unto you!

I don't. Just because someone doesn't think the way you do doesn't give you the right to invent a hell to punish them in. People are entitled to express opinions that do not accord with your own.

I don't believe in hell, but it would be an appropriate punishment.
