That would be awesome...I would love that and I would most definitly say yess, but I wouldn't be surprised if I proposed to my girlfriend first.

I've read that guys these days really like it when the girls/women in their lives take the initative for things that are usually the guy's responsiblity. It takes the heat off of them for a change!! So I'd say that most guys wouldn't have issue if their girlfriends popped the question!! (They can say 'NO' just as easily as the girls do)

I'd feel very awkward about it, simply since I'm a guy and feel like it's the guy's responsibility to do that. But hey, it's not like I'm not going to marry her if she's the one proposing. No duh I'd still marry. The love in a relationship far surpasses the actual proposal.

That depends a great deal on the guy in question. If he thinks you are usurping his traditionally masculine role from the very beginning, he is going to think, 'who's going to be wearing the trousers in this relationship, 'cause it sure ain't gonna be me.' I would advise caution.

my girl proposed to me 12 years ago,even though iproposed to her like ayear before ,and yes it was kinda wierd at the time but we are still married.its a whole different generation,so if she does take it like a man and accept ....it will be worth it dude
