We don't know how long the wait is, from the question. But if you're close to that age too, I'd say just date and don't torture yourself unless you're cool with just seeing her at school and stuff.

Depends on how old you are and what experience you've had. I'm all for standing by someone you really care for, but if you're young as well, then it's good to gain experience in the dating scene. Doing that will actually help you to better understand what you really want (or don't want) out of a girl besides looks. If anything, it may make you appreciate that girl even more.

It depends on how much you really like her...If you like her alot then you should be able to wait forever for her! If you dont like her that much then go back out and get someone else.

Maybe her parents will allow her to date earlier than 16 if she shows she is mature and responsible.
