who cares what anyone believes... all anyone asks is that people who feel the need to shout about their religion keep it to a dull roar.

Because they are scared. Some people are just silly, some are foolish and some truly are ignorant. As far as al's comment about homosexuals is concerned, I have never talked down to ANYONE regardless of their lifestyles, no I don't agree with their choices but it doesn't mean that I don't care for them! And to JT the constitution of The United States of America, guarantees that we have the freedom of religion and it states that the government cannot create a "national religion" but it does not say that the government cannot support religions! And us "bible thumper's" will spend OUR tax doallars on what we see fit and not what the bleeding heart ignorant liberals want "us" to.

I don't think atheists think that we aren't going anywhere after death they just don't believe in God or any of the organized religions.

Most atheists are naturally inquisitive, and therefore interested in what everyone else believes.
Sure, they/we might find the concept of an afterlife somewhat unbelievable but it's fascinating to hear why other people think differently.
Put it this way, if someone told you the earth was in fact flat, wouldn't you wonder why they assumed it was so?

Its just like everyone is fascinated by Harry Potter's books although we all know that it is just a fantasy. It is a curious and funny ride for the rationalists into the minds of the "gOd BElIeViNg" peoples. It is care for you people that we feel in our heart because we are all part of one humanity and we can't bear seeing you losing the path of common sense.

We do not care what you believe, we do care when you push it in politics, oh and telling us we are going to hell. The reason I'm interested is because I was a christian and if I can help anyone free themselves, then great.

Religion is fascinating. It is fascinating in what it has done to people for thousands of years. I'm and athiest becuase I have no beliefs in any religion, but I am still undecided as to where we go when we are dead. Maybe we go nowhere, it is beyond our ability to understand that we may not have conciousness at all after death. sorta like being unconsious.?

I don't care what people believe until they attempt to use the government and tax dollars to promote that belief.
As long as bible thumpers confine their beliefs to their own homes & churches, no problem.

I dont really know the definition of an Athiest .Personally i dont have any religion but I get annoyed about how Christians go on and on about their religion. Why do they think any one else wants to know? Is it because they feel insecure.
