i think you took the first step in admitting that this isn't good. i really think that it sounds like depression. you might not actually feel depressed but you have a lot of the signs.
i would seriously consider seeing your family doctor and talking to him/her about what options are available for you. maybe a psychologist or psychiatrist (the former favors therapy the later favors drugs....what it boils down to)
you may just be overwhelmed at the thought of trying to change around your whole lifestyle overnight...
try deciding one day that no matter what...you are going to not drink one soda....then when you have reached a goal...add another...now i will vow to get out and take a walk or once a week i will go out with friends despite not feeling like it...
find inspiration where you can and hang on to it...
look in the mirror and ask yourself this:
"i get one shot at this life that i know of.....am i making the most of my chance to live today?"
keep a journal at night of your activities...
good luck and keep your chin up.

Please visit a doctor because you are suffering from depression. At the moment I wouldn't worry about your weight, smoking or soda drinking, although try to include healthy foods in your diet as well, you just need to concentrate on getting better. Do you have a very close friend or family member that you can maybe discuss your feelings with ? If not you can e-mail The Samaritans who will help you enormously. It will be a long haul but believe me you will get better in time, you must try to go out as it will make you feel better, perhaps there is a way in which you could help other people, this will make you feel good about yourself. I wish you all the best.

It sounds like you are suffering from depression. You really need to talk to someone. Maybe a friend, a friend's mom, a school counselor, your doctor, an aunt- someone- anyone. You know you are feeling bad- you said it right here. And it sounds like you WANT to feel GOOD right? So talk to someone- it really will help. At 17 you may have some things going on in your body that a dr can help- hormones and things can get really out of whack and a dr will be able to help.
Take a walk, look through old pictures, remember fun times in your life. Think about the fun things you want to do in the future. You got a lot of livin' to do, girl! Chin up!
Remember- talk to someone, Okay?

Perhaps you have a chemical imbalance causing depression. Talk to a mental health professional who can help you slowly deal with what is going on with you. Either way get a complete physical — perhaps you are sick.
Cut the smokes & sugar out 'cold turkey'. Weening never works. These two drugs are deadly.
Get involved in a hobby that includes groups. The more active you get, the more calories you naturally burn off, and won't be worrying. Learning & enjoying fun things with others is always worthwhile.
Take action now!!! You're young — go enjoy life!

Well, at least you've already admitted you have a problem and you're seeking advice. I'm 18, about 5 foot 3, and I weigh 103 pounds! I've never smoked, so I can't tell you what to do about that, but I did give up pop recently. And believe me, I LOVE pop. I just did it cold shoulder. I still get cravings for it, but all you have to do is replace it with something like lemonade. I know giving up pop is very healthy for you, so try to do it. I also don't exercise. The most I do is take a short walk every couple of weeks! I suggest getting something like a treadmill until you can work up the energy to exercise outdoors. Good luck with everything, and please make a huge effort to quit smoking-I don't want you to get cancer!

sounds like a case of depression, but im not sure that the drugs the doctors try to give you for that will really help you. Try to find an interest that you can do to get out. I really like to ride my mountain bike, Sometimes I go with friends, but i really dont mind going alone, It gives me exercise and time to think and fresh air, which I think is the best cure for depression that there is., that and some sunshine. It's hot right now, but the evening hours are great for riding. But good luck, Just find something that's cheap to do that you enjoy, and commit yourself to it, you will sonn be feeling good about yourself. Oh yeah, try to drink more water instead of soda. Your body and brain need water!
Plus riding will soon clear out your lungs and make you not want to smoke, Push yourself to ride, and don't give up!
If I could, I would go with you. Maybe find a buddy who will ride with you. It is FUN!

I have a lot of problems and have been there myself. I ended up switching to diet soda and got a pilates dvd. Don't worry about the smoking, you can deal with that later, you need to take care of youself and give yourself a daily mission. Exercise is great, well it can seem like torture, but it is a great realease for negative emotions. I would exercise every morning if I was you. Get outside and enjoy life, before it passes you by.

You might be depressed but I suspect it's the way you eat. You need to get rid of all the junk food in your house and then stock up on healthy stuff. Drink lots of water instead of soda. Get a parent or friend to help you. Get out of bed and do something that requires movement, force yourself to do it. If you don't feel better in a week go to the doctor.

You also need to find someone to talk to. If you go to church you could talk to someone there. But you do need to get medical help thats the most important thing. Dont let it keep going on!!!!! The longer you lay around the harder it is to get going again. Try your best to stay positve and motivated. Go out with your friends even if you dont want to. Some thing may happen that just might change your outlook on life!!!
Good luck and God Bless

but now i c hope and i am allready full of spiritz to reach my goals and bring out my potentials.
there is allways hope-lance armstrong
well feeling so is jus 1 phase of life wich evry soul on earth has 2 undergo!!
u mite have had longtermdepression after sum failure/lackofemotionalsupport... moment wer u cud'nt prove ur self.. thats wat leads to such tots and habits.
all psychologists advice ppl in depression to avoid evrysingle thought/decision which they make at that time since all these thoughts are thoughts are stress induced and may not be true thus hiding the true potential of any1 .
so ur medication : play n njoy urself and do wat u like- this will release 'happy' hormones/nuerotransmitters like dopamine n seretonin, this will make u a lot mor "alive" inside.this is scientifically proven.
and i appreciate tat u r reaching out to ppl fr advice/comments
all the best li'l girl
