Yes Jesus was born Jewish.

He was also a carpenter, a shepherd, the son of God, a man of miracles.

The chances of him being black are highly likely and his earthly ancestors were Arab.

I dont think there would be one nationality on this planet that has not been involved in some sort of war and although Mel Gibson will regret what he said for the rest of his life, there is still a lot of truth in what he said. What he didnt say was that the Jewish people were not alone, just about every other Nation has been a war monger at some stage of their evolution.

Yes, Jesus was born a Jew. He was descended from the line of David.

Anti-Semites posing as Christians are not truly Christian. And Christians who harbor anti-Semitic ideas and feelings need to seriously re-examine themselves. God said "I will bless those that bless Israel, and I will curse those who curse Israel"- Genesis 12:3

Cut Mel Gibson a break. He's human too, and entitled to make mistakes. He was drunk and said some unfortunate things. At least he was man enough to show regret and apologize. Why is he held to a higher standard then the rest of Hollywood. I have heard far more hateful things come from the mouths of other Celebrities, and they were sober! No apologies from them either!

Mel Gibson is a man not Jesus and we should not use him as our example. Mr Gibson has apologized for his actions and he like any human has made a mistake and admitted it and I think we should forgive him. We should never think that a human is above making a mistake. This is why Christians get called hypocrites because people expect them to be perfect when they become Christian and we will never be perfect as long as we are on this earth. We count on the promise that when we die we will be raised incorruptible. Jesus was a Jew and he was killed by Jews technically but indirectly Jesus was killed by all of us.

Jesus, for me, was an extra-ordinary human being who was made out as the "Son of the God" by the followers. Such great people do not belong to any religion or physical boundries. They belong to all those who believe in them, irrespective of religion, caste or nationality. They are born as ordinary human beings and become great by virtue of their deeds, preachings and situations prevailing at that time. Jesus came at a time when the ordinary folks were in need of a savior, a hero, someone who could lead them and fight against the evils in their society. So did Krishna, Rama, Buddha, Mahavir, Mohammad, Nanak, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teressa, and many others in their respective times. They are great people and are not bound by any religion.

Jesus was a Jewish person.

RE What Mel Gibson would or would not like: Fortunately for all humanity, truth depends not one whit on its receiver's ability or willingness to accept it.
