I mean the reference to Moses in the Bible parting the Red Sea. Could it have meant a revolution that Moses helped his people win?

Its a type like all actions stories of the Bible very true and also various types will occur again read Ezekiel cht 38 & 39 for WW3 and the people involved they are RED possibly Russia maybe China.But these are all types Moses was a "type" of Jesus NOT Jesus but merely a "type" of savior thats coming yet future.

No symbolism there. The parting of the Red Sea was meant to demonstrate the power and ability of God to deliver His people from trouble. Moses was simply the instrument through which the Lord chose to accomplish the awesome feat.

The Red Sea is a mis-translation. The term in the bible is reed sea meaning a marsh.

no. i believe it was a literal account. in fact, archeological evidence has been found to support this trip. A narrow ridge along the floor of the red sea, where it is beleived the poepl alked on, has had artifacts found on it, ie wheels from egyptian chariots, and things like that.
