Thank you, for asking this question. There is someone I know and care alot about who is having the same situation. I am beside myself trying to figure out what to do for her. I have read all of the answers above and that will help me, help her.

Now I will put in my 2 cents worth for you.

You are loved, know that, there are people that care so much about you.
You have been down, for whatever reason and you just forgot, it is okay, there is nothing wrong with you.
In the near future everyone around you is gonna know just how awesome you are, watch, you'll see.
Look in the mirror, no not at your reflection (which is nice too), but into your eyes, yeah, do you see it now. There is such an intensity to your soul and you can't deny it - no one can.

Believe in your self. Be Strong and straight forward. When you speak with other people look at them straight in their eyes. Don't be shy at the same time don't be wide mouth. Think wisely. Read lot. Learn everything. Make friends. Do Yoga or meditation. try to understand other person's feeling. Practice your self to study others mind & heart. Feel good about your self. Don't waste your time if you have any effort to do... Make an ambition. Go for it. It will give your self confidence to yourself.

hey man!!
1st accept this universal truth: evry1 has weaknesses and equal amount of potential n soul in them.
try hard to find wer ur interests lie and wrk hard to improve on them step by step and njoy it.
thus confidence will be gained and u can perform ur wrk with greater efficiency,accuracy,faith in urself.

PS: never let confidence give way to head weight,its dangerous

Be cool, think slowly and think positively

Practice yoga that it will improve your will power and mind power.
Don't go for anger, first you can think any work I will do and not to think negative.

That it will imoprove your confidence by practice.

Ask other people that have done... w/e your trying to do.

Also take deep breaths and let it out slowly. W/e your trying to do you will always be a bit nervouse but confidence comes after nervousness.

Hope you overcome your conffedence... for w/e your doing.

Get a new haircut, get some snappy clothes, change your name to Max Power, move to somewhere where all the people really suck, paint your toe nails, get a pimp outfit, get a slammin' new car, date a model, graduate college, get some lipo, buy a puppy, go see Dr. Phil, and eat some pizza, yo.

Sourround yourself with people who love you. And you do have friends, you do have family. Be around them, call them up for some coffee anything. Do things with group outings. Because when you are sourrounded by people who love you and care for you, confidence will shine through.
