you dont have to hide from your parents if its someone you really like they will see the light and accept him if that is what makes u happy.. they will support ur wishes

Emotions are so powerful when you are young. It is sometimes hard to see clearly. There are three things that could be happening here and you need to determine which it is:
1. he is not good enough for you and your parents see this.
If that's the case, ask your parents what their concerns are. why are they apprehensive about you having a relationship with him. Listen patiently to them........really listen. Often others can see things we can not because we are infatuated with the person.
2. they are being overprotective because you are their little girl.
that's okay too. It's the fact that they love you and don't want you to be hurt that causes them to feel this way.
3. Just being normal parents...........it's hard to see our babies grow up and we want what is best.
Looking back, my family was always right and I never listened. I was sure they were wrong. I wish I would have listened. It would have saved me a lot of pain.

I guess that you are talking about your boyfriend. And you parents dont like him? If that is the case, there should be a valid reason on your parents side for why they dont like him. Just try to find that out and slove that.

Have you asked your parents why they don't like him? Maybe they see something that you don't. Try and listen to what they have to say. Your parents are the only people that truly care about your best interests.
