Fiction, it is a variation of an ancient flood that many cultures have stories about BUT one major difference people who read and believe the bible say that Noah's story is the only true one Even though older cultures have virtually the same story

Noah's ark did take position. despite the indisputable fact that the total international wasn't flooded only the aspects of Israel the position Noah lived. And he did not take 2 of each animal contained in the international, only those that were there. i comprehend this because quite a few diverse religions decrease back then communicate about the same flood and a guy progression an ark.

I'm sure there were floods but that doesn't mean the ark story as it is in the Bible is true. It is impossible it could have happened that way. The ark would have had to have been at least the size of Texas to sustain all it supposedly did, assuming it was really tall and there are so many other parts that just couldn't happen. If you can buy this story surely you can just as easily buy that the world was made without a creator so why would you need this crazy religion?

Fact.
Q: How did Noah live to be 600.
A: Contrary to popular belief, we are not evolving, but devolving. Every generation introduces errors that shorten lifespan and add deformities. At one time, when the genetic code was still good as God created it, we would have had a much longer lifespan.
Q: How did Noah gather all the animals?
A: He didn't. God gathered them, causing them to come to Noah. What about continents and other barriers? The flood caused a massive geological disturbance. It is easily possible that in preflood times there was a super-continent as proposed by many geologists.
Q:How did he fit the animals on the ark
A: The bible says he took two of each unclean animal and seven of each clean according to their kinds. We do not have a definition of what is meant by kinds. Athiests tend to think that we believe that every animal was in the same for it is in today, but that is just ignorance. We are well aware of speciation. For the species that we have today, the kinds need only be restricted to Genus, not each subspecies. Most of these, when adult, are as small as a sheep or smaller, and those that weren't could have been adolescents, decreasing their size dramatically (ex brontosaurus the size of a dog, is easier to carry than one the size of a house). When this is taken into consideration, there was plenty of room in the specifications of the ark for Noah, his family, the animals and all the supplies they needed.
Q: How did he meet the special needs of the animals?
A: Simply, he only brought species of the kinds that he could care for. The other species adapted in their new environments after the flood.
Q: How did Noah and his family take care of the animals?
A: Maybe they made the boat in such a way that these tasks were made more efficient. Proper ventilation and food and waste management systems may still have left a full days work for them, but it is an entirely possible amount of work to do for Noah and his family, which was a minimum group of seven people, though it could have been many more.
Q: Where did the pitch come from?
A: It was most likely wood pitch, though anyone keeping up with science knows that oil can form in a matter of weeks in the right conditions, though the majority of the oil deposits today probably came from the flood.
Q: How would he have build the ark?
A: Other than having his family helping him, he had God on his side. The evil people had more fun making fun of him than actually hurting him. It took him many years to build the Ark. If the amish can raise a barn in an afternoon, I am sure Noa could build an ark.
Q: Where did the water come from? How could it cover the mountains?
A: Simple, the world was flat. Not like non-spherical, but had a smooth surface in comparison to today's earth. During the flood, it rained for fourty days and fourty nights. There was massive amounts of global geologic activity and the fountains of the deep opened. During the time of the flood a massive restructuring of the surface of the earth took place. Where did all the water go? Chech the atlantic, pacific etc, there is quite a bit there.
Q: How did the plants survive?
A: There are many plants that easily survive in some form during lengthy submersions. Though there was probably many that were that did not survive, there were many that did. As some of these adapted to the post-flood world, they lost this ability and became more fragile to the environmental conditions.
Q: Are there evidences of fis in weird places?
A: If you consider marine life on top of mountains, than yes.
Q: How did soo many species arise after the flood and get where they are?
A: Simple, Speciation. The animals that were saved moved outward from their locations and adapted to their new habitats, created millions of species in a short timespan, a well documented event after catastrophies.
Q: Inbreeding?
A: When the genetic code was less deformed, inbreeding didn't pose the danger it does today.
Q: Why are taller animals found higher in geologic strata?
A: Not because they sank fater, but because they kept their heads above water longer. This burial by death order makes perfect sense with the fossil record.
Q: Could the world have really been so bad?
A: Go to halem and yell "basketball and ******* suck and im gunna run y'all over with my ferrari". You are about half way there.

The story of Noah's ark is like the story of Atlantis.
To ancient humans who generally had very little idea of the size of the world, it is easy to exaggerate a local catastrophe into a global one. It is not surprising that the same type of stories reoccur in other parts of the world. Humans usually live near water, and where there's a source of water, there will eventually be a major flood.
The problem is with believing that the Bible stories are always literally true. A global flood as described in Genesis is simply not possible. It would be easier for God to teach everyone on Earth to treat eachother with dignity than to slay them all in a global flood and start over.

Very interesting read. It certainly raises a lot of questions. I feel like this: Whether or not Christianity is real or not (I feel I'm in no position to either dispute or confirm it), there are definately some problems in some of the miracles spoken of in the Bible, not to mention the fact that NONE of those kind of miracles take place today. I don't even want to ask if God's power is any weaker now than it was then or not, but why don't we see any of it happen now? I don't consider myself a follower of any religion in particular and those kind of unanswered questions, are in part, the reason why.

There is proof that the world or at least most of it has been flooded out of existence in the past. with a God warning the most pure individuals of the coming disaster and commanded them to do the same thing. The Quote is probably over embellished.Noah,Gilgamesh and others from different places were told to gather up all the animals that they could to preserve as much as possible. For the commandment after reach episode was go forth and replenish the world.
A bad habit of bible writers is to combine earlier stories and combine them into one story instead of separate ones as they should be.

Of course IT is a "FACT":) it's just the Unicorns forgot to get On!!! and maybe a few others!!!
Remember the facts...we as people were very near sighted, and narrow minded way back then!!!!
I do believe there was a cataclysmic event...maybe the authors couldn't see the Whole Picture!!!
The Unicorns must have been out playing in the hills...and the dinosaurs...might have been playing in the mud...
