my dad's ex-wife walked around naked all the time...it was soo sickening cause she was out of shape and at teh time i was about 12...19 now
Young babies i understand cause they really dont know
Toddlers in my opinion shouldn't...what do you think

i understand the whole glimpse here and there...but for u just to be chilling around your kids with nothing on is just wrong

I will be nude in front of my girls, no problem. I don't make it a thing to walk around with no clothes on though. If I had a son and he was past the age of 5 I don't think I'd walk around him naked, my girls do not see my husband naked. They stopped showering with him when they were old enough to take notice that he had a penis and they wanted to whack at it. We explained to them that daddy has a penis, because he's a boy, they understand that.
I guess we're just not a naked family? Either way that's what we're comfortable with.
As far as somebody's wife, who's not the childs mother, yah that would be a bit WEIRD if you ask me. There's really no reason for it. To have tact would be to cover up with a nice thin robe or something if you must walk around feeling free OR wait until you have the house to yourself. That's my thoughts on it anyhow.

Its a lil wierd about your dads ex. If it is your own child its completely fine. My daughters 8 and I still dress in front of her. It gives her an opportunity to ask questions and get answers. No use of waiting till something happens such as breast or pubic hair growing and they are not familiar with it. My daughter is excited for the changes by seeing me. She even knows what a period is and not afraid, however since I told her she can get hers as early as 9, she often checks her underwear for the changes to start, I tell her patience.
I think if the child seems to be uncomfortable then that is a problem.

It really depends on what the child and the parent is comfortable with. Opposite sex, probably not. But when I was in high school, my mom and I went to the gym together all the time, and that required us changing together. And when we went shopping together, we'd help each other with back zippers and stuff. My mom and I were fine with it. It's not like she didn't have anything that I didn't.
I wouldn't have a problem with my daughter seeing me nude. When your child's a toddler, it's sometimes easier to have them shower with you because they're so squirmy, you can't get them to behave while you're in the shower by yourself. And you kill two birds with one stone, since they get a shower, too.

Im with Scarlett Rose on this one. My sons are 4 1/2 and 3. They have slept with me since babyhood and we still bathe together. There may come a time when we stop (because they get uncomfortable) but for our family its natural and nothing that causes alarm.

Being a person who thinks the only purpose clothes should serve is to keep one warm, I wouldn't have any problem with my kids seeing me in the nude. We're all naked under our clothes. Why is that obscene?

I ALWAYS saw my parents naked...There's NOTHING wrong with that. Nudity is natural, and children should learn about the human body. My baby boy sees me naked, but he's only 5 months, so he doesn't really understand.
People who say that nudity is inapropriate, and that children shouldn't be exposed to it are stupid, EVERYBODY has a BODY, therefore everybody will see at least one naked person in their lives; THEMSELVES. So what's so different about seeing another penis or vagina aside from your own? And what's so bad about seeing the opposite sex organ?
Nudity is natural, nudity is beautiful.

Same sex is fine but as the child gets older its a little different with opposite sex. It depends on the family.

I agree I don't think kids should see them nude. But there will be a point to where you will have to explain to them.
