Well a lot of countries make up Europe and all of them are different but I still think most of them are a better place to live then the USA. I am living in Denmark right now and I lived in Germany a long time ago and they are wonderful countries to live in with good social systems and excellent (free) education. You rarely see poor people in the northern European Countries. There is also little crime.
I hate the US. My father is an American citizen and I had the opportunity to become a dual citizen but I would never want to be part of a country like that. I have seen a lot of the US and think it is a horrible and hopeless place. There are so many poor, uneducated people and so much of it is ugly and rundown. Sure there is some natural but nothing like Canada. Texas is the only place that I didn't outright hate.
The quality of life for the average person is 10x better for most Europeans then it is for Americans.

Been to France, England, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Greece. Been to Georgia, New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Delaware.
Go with Europe (but not England). Especially with the current situations in the USA.

there is no comparison - the USA (as a country) is newer and bolder. We have gorgeous vistas, freedom of travel, freedom to wear, say, do what we want, clean cities, dirty cities, small and large communities. Europe has history, deep roots of knowing who they are and where they belong; gorgeous vistas, clean cities, dirty cities, small and large communities, quaint villages and very modern cities. I've lived in England, Germany and Sicily. I've visited Scotland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Austria, and Itay. These countries also have freedom to travel, but not necessarily TOTAL freedom of speech.
I think I prefer the USA, but would also gladly live in Europe (winter in Alaska, summer in Europe?!!)

I spent a year in Germany and loved it. There, everything closes at night and its so quiet. Also, you could go for beautiful walks without being scared you'll get hurt. But even I must say the United States is better because its my home.

I've been to Finland, but I live in Illinois. I like Finland much better. The people are less crazy, and Finland is just so much cooler. Besides Chicago, Illinois isn't that great.
