what software opens a file that has a .bit file extention?

I downloaded a world of warcraft game client but i could not install it in my pc coz i dont have the appropriate software that runs the file. The property of the file shows that it is a bit file, meaning it has a .bit file extention. I need your help.

Installers doesnt come with that extension. I suspect it a virus. Run your anti-virus scanner and check. Try downloading the game again.
