Not all of the illegals are bad..A lot of them do follow our laws..Besides the legalization of being here..I am just tired of some illegals that don't follow the US laws ,making no attempts to learn ENGLISH.And expect us to understand their language..If all the illegals will get deported this will cost a lot of money..Not all of the illegals are from Mexico..We have illegals from every parts of the world..Who will pay for their plane tickets ?Do we tax payers be willing to raise the taxes to pay for this expenses??I believe the amnesty solution was a way to build funds for the massive fences from California to Texas..As I recall, this fences would have cost us around 40 billion dollars..I am just being realistic about this situation...What do you think should be done Ladies and gentlemen? .

The US Coast Guard And Army National Guard
Are Already TRAINED And EQUIPPED
To DETAIN And DEPORT
Large Groups Of People

We Should Up The Ante
Instead Of DEPORTING Them In 747 Air Conditioned Jumbo Jets
We Should Ship Them Home Packed By The Hundreds
In C - 130s
Much Like We Ship Our Fighting Forces Overseas

Why Make Their Trip Home Cost Passenger Rates??
Our SOLDIERS Are Shipped Overseas
At Wholesale CARGO RATES FOR FREIGHT

We Should Tip The Scale
By DEPORTING Them To Their Nations Of Origin
At The Cost Of FREIGHT
That Will Cost Around 1/2 The Cost
Of Deporting The ILLEGAL ALIENS
On COMMERCIAL PASSENGER Airliners

And We Can INCREASE The Amount
Of Deportees PER FLIGHT
Therefore An Even Larger Savings
In DEPORTATRION EXPENSES

And, As Several Have Mentioned
SEVERAL Times Before This

MANY Will Leave On Their Own
The Estimate Is Right About ONE HALF
(Around 12 Million) ILLEGAL ALIENS
Will Voluntarily Leave On Their Own

Once They Are Deprived
Of TAXPAYER FUNDED SOCIAL SERVICES
Jobs, And Housing
They Will Leave The Nation And Return To Their Homes

They Can Always PAY THEIR OWN WAY OUT
On A Passenger Airline
And Leave In Peace NOW
On Their OWN

Or You Can JUMP BACK OVER THE FENCE

That Will Leave Around 12 Million More

ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS WILL BE DEPORTED UPON DISCOVERY

When You Get Discovered
And Handed Over To The NATIONAL GUARD
You Will Get DEPORTED
At The Cost Of Freight

That Will Cut ANY Uneducated Estimate
That You Can Come Up With
At LEAST In Half
And THEN Some
Due To Self Deportations

So Go Back To The Drawing Board
And Crunch A Few More Numbers
Cause It Gets More And More COST EFFECTIVE To Deport
Every Time We Chat About It

We limit the number of poor immigrants who can come because their taxes (even if paid) are so low they cover only a small fraction of the cost of the services they use like education and health care. That means not only that the rest of us have to pay for them, it means education and other services become degraded.

We spend tens of billions on illegal immigrants each year. It might take a couple of years to recoup the money through savings to our services, but it would take a couple of years or more to deport them any how.

I don't think we should deport the good sort IF we can solve the problem so amnesty wouldn't bring more and IF it were limited to those here with no ability to bring in other family except under existing quotas. Our schools are failing, and while I feel badly for them, I feel our own people should be well served before we start sharing with others. The numbers have just become too large.

However, economics isn't the point. It is clearly cheaper to deport them than to support them.

MOST illegals are not bad, but NONE of them have followed the laws of the country. Hence the label, ILLEGAL.

It is not about individuals. It is not about race. It is not about ethnicity. It's not about how difficult the illegals have it back home. It is about a country having an OBLIGATION to maintain control of who can enter and exit. We do not live in utopia. We live in a world of nations. Without borders there are no nations, there is only anarchy and chaos. Unfortunately, we are not evolved enough yet to live without law. There are rules that must be followed.

My first concern is about the unfairness of illegal immigration. It makes it more difficult for legal applicants to be able to immigrate. Why should people who broke the law to enter the country have more rights to work in the US than those who have followed the laws and applied for an immigration visa? I have not once had a "pro-illegal" respond to that question. They often say that the illegals are just trying to feed their families, but when they are asked about the starving families of the people who want to immigrate legally, they have no answer. So, in truth, they don't give a damn about the families of illegals or legal immigrants. They put illegals first, perhaps because they are illegal themselves, or they have some misguided loyalty to illegals because they assume that all illegals come from the same ethnicity they do, and they are insulted by people who want illegals to be replaced with legals because they take it as a personal attack on their ethnicity. For them, it's not about being sympathetic, though they often claim it is even when they show no sympathy to the legal applicants waiting for years, being overlooked each year because there are no jobs for them if they immigrate because all the jobs they might fill are already filled with illegals. It's about looking out for number one. They care only for themselves and to hell with the poor legal applicants.

As for the expenses, ultimately, it would be worth it to our country. Illegal immigration is not only a problem in the US. European countries and Australia have HUGE problems as well. If you do a little research, you will see that EVERY country dealing with illegal immigration is concerned about the toll it plays on their economy. An investment now would pay off later.

I think you got some very excellent answers here to your question and so I hope you will seriously read them all. All I have to add is that I agree with those who explained to you how the deportations will be paid for, right down to lucky2balive and JD. As well, I understand that most illegal immigrants do not bank their money and so obviously many of them carry large sums on them and I believe that whenever they are apprehended, all money on their person should be confiscated and used towards their deportations. It can be done and the economy will NOT crumble with the loss of 20 million illegal immigrants out of a country of 300 million - let's be real here!

do you think the republican party is going to pay out of pocket for the deportation of up to 25 million people? of course it's going to come from tax payers. that's the part they don't want you to think about, though. oh, and the fact that the entire country would collapse without those illegal immigrants. but they'll still make a lot of noise and throw in words like 'potential terrorists' and undercutting wages so people will vote for them in the fall.
notice that nobody in washington seemed to care about this issue until it was revealed that some of the republican seats may be in jeopardy for the november election.

You and I will pay of course. But then again, alot of other things that we pay for will be available for our use rather than go to help illegals stay here. But, on the other hand have you ever seen the movie A Day Without A Mexican? Its hilarious, but at the same time is a reality we can not ignore.

Solving the illegal immigration issue is something that will take years to change.. And yes the tax payers will pay for it. There is no other way to pay for it.

There would probobly be a fine on those who harbor them that would cover the cost.
Deportation would by no means break the bank.
If taxpayers had to take it it doesn't matter because taxpayers have payed their way for years. Whats a few more bucks going to matter now?
