The best way to wake up is to wake making love to the one you love. Then shower and a long walk along the beach in the early morning sunlight, then meditate for about 10 minutes, then three blessings - find 3 things in your life that you are happy about. Repeat meditation & blessings before gong to sleep in evening.

Start with the above. If you still see you're angry, try anger management classes, tae kwon do, yoga or tia chi classes. in addition.

I quit smoking too and I rarely regret it! Walking keeps my emotions much more stable than a cigarette ever could. Best of luck to you, I know how much it can suck to be dissatisfied in your work life.
