Well, my husband had cancer, and while he was on Chemo, we weren't allowed to have sex due to the medication. But if they just have cancer, and aren't taking any type of treatment, you'll be fine. If you have any doubts, either you or your partner can always ask the oncologist. They've heard it all, don't be embarrassed to ask ANYTHING.

Depends on the cancer. Many cases of cervical cancer are caused by the Human Papiloma Virus. If you were virus free (like about 50% of the population in the US) and then had sex with somebody who had cervical cancer caused by the virus, then you would probably get the virus yourself. The immediate symptom is genital warts, but it can cause cervical cancer or (much more rarely) penile cancer.

Transmission of other cancers would require tissue transplantation or at least blood transfusion.

No unless they have the strain of HPV that can cause cancer. But otherwise no. Even the chemo drugs won't harm you during sexual relations.

No, no, of course you won't be harmed. That's a silly notion. There is no way to contract cancer sexually. Watching porn, however, will give you herpes.

No but its better to use a condom if they're on chemo so the drugs won't get into you through body fluids.
