Definitely go with BMW you wont regret it! They just really have a better warrant better quality and better fun! And seriously man if you don't know the meaning of higher series you shouldn't be within a mile of a car!!

BMW is a great car. Audi is too. But I like Jaguar because they are classier looks wise and there is nothing like a Jag. But BMW is the safest choice. The new Jaguar X type is what I have and it is essentially similar to the Volvo C70 a very solid car with all wheel drive and all the Jaguar looks.
Mercedes is nice also but the Beamers 600 series I think is very hot.

I would honestly go for mercedes, but to answer your question go for BMW, its interior and design is great and I personnally find it much better than the Audi. You will have to test drive both the beemer and audi to see which car fits you best.

i'm not sure what "higher series" car means, but i think mercedes is better than both bmw and audi...
