Well first of all how can you like him if you don't know him? I speak from experience, if the guy doesn't know you, it isn't a good idea just to rush and ask him out. If you are willing to try with the relationship, then just introduce yourself and get to know him as a friend or acquaintance then if you really like him afterwords then you can ask him out on a date. This should save you lots of night spent crying over the lost relationship that never started with a guy you barely know.

not good to find out how he is first. Make him see you. Walk up to him. "Accidentally" bump into him. Make yourself known. Then maybe say hi. Never do anything in a relationship fast. No reason to panic, neither
