Reply is to the point from my old classmate?

Reply is to the point from my old classmate in college (6 years back).Now since I have a job now.I want to start with a good friendship.Whenever I ask then only the replies comes.How to gain interest so that she too could write.Why i have to initiate always.We both are in mid 20s.

She probably doesn't understand your English, which I had a hard enough time understanding. You're not quite literate. It's hard to communicate with someone if you can't understand what they're saying or asking. I would highly recommend taking more English classes, in grammar, literature and conversation. Good luck.
