However she likes it because if she doesn't like it she might get embarassed and think people are making fun of her hair at school even if they're really not trust me I have experience

maybe a french braid, or a side braid, braids seem to be the thing to wear-plus it does help keep the hair out of her face.........but more importantly it should really be up to your daughter-I'm sure she has at least an idea of how she wants her hair..........you're so nice to do that-my moms never even touched my hair-hopefully your daughter is very greatful for having you as her mother......good luck

The simpler the better. And make sure she's comfortable with it or she'll be miserable all day.

if its long/medium maybe a pony tail since she is gonna have recess time and gonna be running around and if its loose then it will get all messy.
