My nephew Cameron is turning 10 years old on Saturday. I'd love to get him something which will stand out in his mind. Spending max would be about $200. I'm leaning towards something at least vaguely educational, but give me ideas, people! :-)

A guitar, bass or drum set. Music is very educational. Kids who play music do better in school, that is a fact. Plus it is fun and you will be his favortie uncle. For a guitar I reccomend an Epiphone acoustic guitar pack. Its 100 bucks, and comes with everything he needs.

This isn't really educational but a Nintendo Game Cube is what kids between 9 and 14 use. But if he listens to alot of music get him a boom box. If your not close like close then you really don't have to get him something expensive worth $200.00.

Honestly, Having had a 10 year old boy. He would want the money in a card so he can spend it on whatever he wants. Kids that age love money!
