Not exactly a buildup. They have moved more troops into Baghdad, things are getting a little out of hand right now. That has to be settled before our troops can be brought home. My husband is with them now.

No.

There is no 'military buildup' in Iraq. we are merely delaying the departure of a few units and moving others around inside the country.

And no. It is not for dealing with Iran. If this were the case we would deploying antimissile batteries, naval ships and heavy bombers.

Here is how the professionals determine if the US is preparing to attack somebody:

Haven't heard about a buildup. Last I heard 101st is coming home earlier than expected. The base where my son-in-law was stationed in Iraq has been closed and dismantled.

I hope not. If Iran has nukes it will use them if attacked. I'm hoping America's administration is smarter than that.

It's possible it's a Cold War-type build up. To try to discourage any countries from decided to strike us in the Mid East.

I doubt Bush's stupid enough to engage Iran... It's not that America wouldn't win... it's just that it would be devastating in many different ways.

Israel's going to start sh!t with Syria, and the US is going to back Israel blindly no matter what the hell happens(thank you AIPAC-bought politicians). Iran's going to be pissed and start flinging rockets everywhere, and HELLO WWIII, courtesy of PNAC and the neoconservatives who have hijacked our foreign policy. Do you feel a draft coming?
