actually, at 106F in Central Park today, most scientists are pretty sure the earth is in a warming trend. some people call it "global warming." but, here on Yahoo answers, very, very few people will admit it's a problem. to these doofs, it's just summer. i grew up here, and it never hit 106 back then. ever.

Because we are living in Hell. Better repent and get saved it will get hotter.
As far as that global warming thing this doof wonders if you noticed the earth has been getting warmer ever since the end of the ice age?

because its August. and here in the western hemisphere we are closest to the sun.
