That's a good website - I hadn't seen that before. Their conclusion is not that the Canon is better, however ;-)
The D70 lacks 2 Megapixels on the 350D, but its better feature set and build quality more than makes up for that - the D70 used to be more expensive than the 350D and that price difference was justified.
The D70 currently costs the same as the 350D ($700). This price drop seems to indicate that a D70 replacement is coming soon. Indeed, Nikon has announced that they will reveal a new 10MP camera on August 9th. If you're in the market for a new camera, you might want to wait that extra week.
(I personally use a Nikon D200.)

I'm an admitted Nikon fan, despite the fact that I don't have any predicament with the Canon camp. In this matchup, I'd take the Canon in a heartbeat. The D100 is greater than 10 years ancient. Besides being at the back of the curve in science, it is bought to be lovely beat. It won't have that many shutter activations left. The LCD is tiny. The digital camera is simplest 6MP. Pixels do not depend for the whole thing, however with 12MP, the T3 trounced the D100. I'm certain the T3 will do larger in low mild, No, it may not win any awards for low mild, however it is gotta beat the D100. The processor within the T3 is absolutely larger. I rather might pass on, however the T3 is a miles more moderen and as a result larger digital camera.

There are lot of discussions and reviews that you can find at www.photo.net or www.dpreview.com about these cameras. Both are good cameras, so my suggestions is try to get a personal experience by holding it and shoot couple test shots at the store. I am a Canon user, so my opinion probably lean toward canon, but honestly, I don't really like the handling of EOS350D. Good luck.

My vote would be for the Canon 350. I have the 20D and my brother has the 350. The 350 is a great camera and really shines at high ISO and low light conditions.
