I choose hearing for two reasons:
1. I could still communicate with the outside world through sign language.
2. I have heard many sounds in my life and would have an understanding if someone would compare it for me....but not to see the next sunset, a child's smile, or a tragedy (Historical). I would feel so much more cut off. I don't know how I would be able to compare it....

Well, being a really artistic person I really appreciate being able to see all of the beautiful sights this world has to offer, so I would have to opt for hearing. Besides there is nothing like being able to see the smile on your child's face!

Sight definitely. That sounds crazy, but that is my preference. I am not sure why, though. But I don't believe in God so it doesn't matter. Personally I would rather not lose either.

I would let go of my sense of hearing. I need my eyes for me to see the beauty of every creature and all natural creations.
I will feel blessed not to hear the cries of woes, news of wars, and fightings among man.

I would choose the sight.
The world too flithy to see.
I choose not to see the pain of the world.
As a audio freak, hearing the voice of your love one is always better. You can imagine how the person look like.
Lest, you got back your sight.... behold the ..... Oh my Eyes !!!!
You need not see the plump side of your galfriend / boyfriend.
Given, they have sexy voice.... who cares.

yeah, definitely hearing. you dont' really have to relearn to walk, eat, and all that. plus, like someone else said, i love reading, going on the computer, tv, video games, and all that, so i'd be really upset if i had to lose my sight
even though that would be a really jerk thing for god to do

Hearing. I'm a bigtime reader and video game player. Plus, my job is pretty eyesight-dependent.

If I had to give one up, I'd give up hearing. You can still live a fairly independent life without hearing, but not without vision.
