Most of them are great to read. You want to know something cool though- David put all his strength in the lord. If you look at the Psalms, you find they come in groups of 3. In the first, he asks for help from God with his problems. In the second, he is often times depressed, asking why God has forsaken him and left him to die. But, in the third, he goes back to praising God in all his glory. It's a cycle we all experience at some time. Take some time and realize that even the greatest figures in history have gone through what you have. Don't worry, the lord will always be there for those who look for him.

Psalm 34 is nice, particularly verse 18. Also, you might want to consider reading from a modern translation like the "New Living Translation (NLT) or "The Message". Both can be found on line at a site like http://www.biblegateway.com. There are a lot of translations there to choose from. Music also is wonderful, and there is a CD by a woman named Joanna Hogg that is one of my favorites. She's from Ireland...the CD is called "Looking into Light (Celtic Hymns). The music is very soothing and the lyrics are like a healing ointment to the soul. Enjoy!

Someone who is really depressed and sad does not want some preacher quoting the bible. They want to be left alone.
