High school is super fun. Get involved in activities, you meet people and that makes it so much fun. Keep your grades up and get to know your teachers, counselors, and administration; they will write your recommendations for college.

Be yourself, like the others said, and just keep in mind that as soon as you get out of high school you never have to see the people again if you don't want to, or worry about the dumb rumors. Just remember that, and when you do it'll hopefully help remind you not to worry about the stupid stuff so that you can enjoy those four years and let any bad stuff that happens, if any does, not stick with you throughout them. Another thing you might want to try, or stick to if you do, is be nice to everyone from any of the cliques there because it really will benefit you in the future and to have different views of situations plus you might gain some cool friends that you never thought you would talk to. One more thing that needs to be known is that, while yeah they're awesome years for partying to some people, don't throw too much time into crazy drinking and stay away from drugs. Some might not even consider this going in, I definitely didn't, but things change, they did for me, and they can ruin everything if you get carried away with them.

Don't be afraid of what others think of you! <-- That's the most important!
Don't let others tell you who to be. Do things because you want to and not because it's cool. Don't do things you don't want to. Have fun. Don't stress.
Umm, join a sport team or club. Get involved. Meet new people. But keep your friends close!
Study. Hand in assignments. etc.
:) Hope it helps!

Same situation here, I think you should just keep your GPA up, mind your reputation as word travels quickly in high school, yet at the same time, be involved in extracurriculars and have some flaming fun.

Don't agree with idiots just to fit in where you think you should be. Focus on academics and what you can get out of all of it to make yourself successful. Stay away from people who want anything other than friendly relationships, you don't need the distraction of relationship maintenace along with homework and tests.
