Send him letters, stamps, care packages, pictures, LITTLE memento's. Like everyone else has said, he will not have a lot of space for storing things, and he won't have much time in the beginning.

There are a variety of websites out there with information, but I would suggest checking out the USAF site, and then checking for links to various installations. That will give you an idea of what the bases have to offer.

After his training, I recommend that he go by himself to his first unit. That way, he can get in processed and make all the necessary arrangements, such as an ID card, housing, etc for you. Then you can follow and everything will be taken care of.

Good luck, and congratulations

Don't send anything bulky. There is little room in a locker, and it's hard to pack and carry a heavy duffel bag. Maybe a book, photos, and definitely, lots of letters. You can go to the recruitment office he went to for information. Good luck. I salute your fiancee.

In Basic, people are generally limited to items they can have. There is no place to store them. You want to send brownies, write letters fine!

After you get married and he has been assigned, you can have whatever you want!
