In response to "Mr. Mister.:" Why do Christians ALWAYS resort to bible verses? Have you no ideas of your own? Nothing original?
The thought of being TOLD what to think or believe is absurd to me. I have a mind of my own capable of charting my own spiritual path, influenced by many religious traditions, philosophies, and life experience.
In the name of "God" or salvation (I still can't figure out why I need to be saved.), Christianity has burned women at the stake, slaughtered thousands during the Crusades, tortured and mutilated millions during the Inquisition, and ignored the plight of the millions of Jews who were murdered by Hitler.
In my opinion, the minute Emperor Constantine made Christianity the state religion of Rome, the entire Western hemisphere took a nose dive. Catholics live with constant guilt. Others are doing ridiculous things like jumping around with poisonous snakes, etc.
It's all nuts. THINK FOR YOURSELVES!

Not all Christians are bigots... not agreeing with someone or condoning a behavior is not bigotry. And no, bigotry wont save anything. The world is not going to be saved, only people who follow Christ.

No. Neither will Buddhist bigotry, Islamic bigotry, Jewish bigotry, Zoroastrian bigotry, and on and on.
Perhaps a better question is, what do you mean by "save the world?" Does the world need to be 'saved'? From whom? From what?
Maybe everything is as it should be. How could we know?

You are making false accusations against all christians as being bigotry which is wrong to begin with!...but just like the rest of you GOD Haters, that's just your foolish mentallity (Psalms 14: 1).....since you GOD Hating atheists have such a bad view of christians, why hang around this site?.....you GOD Hating atheists hang around this site to Make False Accusations Towards All Christians! You Mock, Harrass, Bully, And Insult religion, especially christians (Matt. 10: 22).......you prove yourself everyday!.....The question on the religious side is "Will Atheists Bigotry Save The World"!.......that works both ways!

We can take a bet, and see the world explode and second Jesus never came. Wow then all the believers out there would realize that all those years of worship really didn't help a thing, well but that's too late I guess, to regret and start thinking about how realistic your everyday actions are.

No type of bigotry, whether Christians' or yours, will save anything.
What will save the world, if we allow it, is the Beauty, Mercy, and Love of its Creator.
Such is my hope, anyway.

No.... niether can the Christian religion, or any religion for that matter... only Jesus can save us... if we ask and accept Him....
Why does everyone on here like to impose terible steriotypes on me and others like me, by calling us: Hypocritical, religious, hatful, braindead idiots, that are no better than terrorist....
Dude what did I do to you? Did I curse at you? Did I kill innocient people? Did I use hatful raccist comments? Did I act like a donkey?
