Uh He did come to earth. Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate. But I believe that is another question. Yes Jesus Christ is God the Son and He did come to earth. Even your bible agrees with that.

Jesus was born of a virgin and came to earth for 2 reasons.
1. To spread His Word (God+ Jesus+Holy Spirit=God)To spread His message thru out the world and to do this He appointed and hand picked the 12 Apostles and ordained them and blessed them with the Holy Spirit to spread His Word and His love
2. Jesus came to earth to give human kind a way to redeem themselves from their sins so that we/they could have everlasting life in heaven with Him. Jesus's whole being was/is to give you eternal life and for that to be done He had to be nailed upon the cross with the sins of mankind, was in the grave for 3 days(and also in hell) and then resurrected and now sits upon His throne in heaven

He came to earth because his mother and father had unprotected sex. Then he went on to pull of the biggest practical joke ever played on humanity by convincing Christians that he is a god.

We all need a Saviour.
A plan of Salvation.
A destiny of future, that our future is plan for.
Someone who step into our Filth-fill life and world, with all the
pain and worries, the death and misery to pull us out
Even before the crunch of the apple was on Eve mouth, a shadow of the cross of Salavation was taking place.
It was not the nail that nail Jesus to the Cross. But Love for all of us.
It was not the pain of the cross he suffered for, that he cried Eli Eli..... but our cries to God of our pain fill world.
It was this needs, the cause to see His Children in happiness, in Joy and love.
God came to Us.
The plan is Finished. Jesus say all the sins is account for.
Sins been wipe out. From Adam to us now.
Jesus have say: " It is finished . "
Now, we go to spread the Gospel to the world, in peace and love what Jesus done for us.

Yes according to Islamic teaching,Yesus will come again to this earth before this universe broken out.He will remind his followers that Islamic religion is right path and he will cut and break the cross woods. and his statues. He will tell that he is not a God'son.
He will tell that all followers who do not want to change their believe to only one God will go to hell..But his followers who want to convert their believe to Islam there is enough time for them to make a good deeds which will be judged by Allah at the day of resurrection and they have a chance to go to heaven.

Among other things Jesus came to earth to do what Adam and all his decedents failed to do, live a sinless and holy life, a perfect reflection of God.
Through this he was able to defeat death for all who choose to "take up their cross and follow him".

He came to fulfill the Law of Moses, to teach us the true nature of God, to teach us God's will including love for everyone, to become the only perfect man, to redeem us from our sins, to be resurrected thereby making the Resurrection apply on all human beings.

My thoughts are irrelevant. But the Church, from the beginning, has taught that "God became man, that men might become gods", as St Athanasios, among others, aptly put it. Jesus came to free His creation and His brothers from sin, death, and the devil.
